Hay-wreath

With Easter not far away I wanted to make something to put my Easter eggs in! Since I live on a farm with animals, that eat hay, this is what I  used for my little wreath, plus its free ;-). Besides hay you need some 26 Gauge wire (Floral wire), small pliers and scissors. Make 4-5 approx. 2″ in diameter -bundles- of hay ready in front of you. With the wire you wind around them and attach one bundle after another. At the end, after you got the desired size of the “wreath/nest”, you join the two ends. Twist, cut and hide the wire inside so nobody gets poked by it. Cut off some lose hay and you are all set!P1040818.JPGEgg-stra
